TansiHub is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We serve Northern and Indigenous communities across Ontario, and we believe access to trusted local work and services should be available to all.
Our Standard
We aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.0 Level AA, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. We work toward accessible design across our website and mobile app.
What We Do
- Support keyboard navigation and screen-reader-friendly markup;
- Use sufficient colour contrast and legible typography;
- Provide text labels for interactive controls and meaningful alternative text for images;
- Design forms and flows to be clear, with visible focus and error messages;
- Test with assistive technologies and improve based on feedback.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and we are actively improving them. If you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it and will work to provide the information or service in an accessible way.
Accessible Formats & Support
On request, we will provide information about TansiHub in an accessible format or with communication support, in a timely manner and at no additional cost. Let us know what you need.
